I have to agree with my friend. They look like zombies at the moment. But to me, this is the most exciting part: I have the whole canvas more or less covered the way I want it. It’s time to start ‘fixing’ this mess. I think I would have completed this painting today. I am so eager to keep working on it, but alas, mothering duties beckon.

Header Countdown

No, PrettyGreenBullet does not have a disease. If you’re wondering what the dots are above, they’re a sort of count up to my exhibition in December. I add a dot a day and that gives me a dose of morning fun. Simple minds, simple pleasures. And my Header page on WordPress is starting to resemble one of my airplane countdown charts.

hour drawing } first hour

I’ve been meaning to start a new ‘Storybook’ drawing for a while now. This time I set a rule for myself: one hour a day. I was five minutes shy of an hour because the ink in my pen so inconveniently ran out. I’ll be better prepared tomorrow. I hope you enjoy watching this story unfold with me.
