I just started a new watercolor sketchbook and I’m very excited! I can’t wait to get my desktop back so that I can use my Mustek scanner, which doesn’t work with my MacBook. Ten more days!

You know I love to use color. This time I challenged myself to stick to blues: prussian, cobalt and ultramarine. I actually enjoyed having a limited color choice and may try this on a larger surface. Listen to Fun Boy Three Our Lips are Sealed.

As this drawing came to completion with the woman in red ink, I was reminded immediately of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, hence the title. It has that quality of good and evil, soft and hard. Although one thing I can never remember is which of the two was the monster.
